Ever since its foundation, G. Henle Publishers has received lavish praise, recognition and most importantly valuable suggestions from musicians around the world. Amongst them are very prominent artists. As an example, here is a passage from a letter sent by Maestro Evgeny Kissin:

Günter Henle knew and was friends with many great artists of the time, including Rudolf Serkin, Edwin Fischer, Arthur Rubinstein, Walter Gieseking, Wilhelm Furtwängler, Yehudi Menuhin and David Oistrach. Günter Henle’s autobiography contains wonderful descriptions of his encounters with these distinguished musicians. He also talks about the foundation of his publishing house during a difficult time lasting into the 1970s.
